Abstract

Family business is an essential part of the China economy, and the successful intergenerational inheritance of family business is crucial to ensure enterprise’s vitality. The intention of the young successor to join the enterprise is directly affected by the enterprise management model. Through five interviews, this study found that the company capital operation is the most influential element among other factors like ownership, decision making process, enterprise culture which affect the successor's willingness to join.
