Based on the official case data and case information, this paper analyzes the temporal evolution and spatial distribution pattern of confirmed cases in Shenzhen based on the statistical method and GIS spatial analysis, and reveals the spatial transmission characteristics of the epidemic. The study found that: (1) The cumulative number of confirmed cases in Shenzhen showed an "S" curve growth, and experienced four diffusion stages: the initial development period, the accelerated growth period, the decelerated growth period, and the stable fluctuation period. (2) The overall distribution of the epidemic showed a pattern of high in the southwest and northeast, and low in the northwest and southeast; the spatial distribution of the epidemic community showed significant and continuous clustering; fever clinics and nucleic acid testing facilities could cover most of the epidemic community, but were lacking in central Shenzhen. (3) The epidemic spread from the central and western parts of Shenzhen to the southwest and then to the northeast, finally showing an epidemic distribution pattern of "one axis + multiple centers".
